- Her last name used to be Popawheelie.
- She was born in a greenhouse on top of palm fronds.

- She lost a finger in a battle with a wickedly fast snake for the last piece of ice cream cake at her own birthday party.

Ok, so here I am just browsing some randomly recently updated blogs on May 9th and I stumble across this one - and in particular - this picture.
That evening I thought of the picture and named the cat - Miss Meows. And the story line - Miss Meows Goes Shopping. Where she goes to the "big city" for the first time with her mom to go clothes shopping. Each store she enters she buys an article of clothing (which she MUST wear out of the store - her insistance) - and each one is in color. So page by page goes by and she is being transformed from black and white into full color. And when she comes home her home is in full-color as well. There must be some deep meaning there...
It's been over a month and I'm still writing the story in my head (mostly thinking about it when I am reading to my 2 year old). I figure I'll write it here, someone will take it and run with the idea. Maybe writing it will finally get it out of my mind! :)
Great picture. Amazing how just a single picture can turn into a whole story when you let your mind wander. I'd like to buy a Miss Meows stuffed doll for my daughter when they hit the shelves so let me know...
